Privacy Policy

Withamedia builds independent software products. This policy explains how Withamedia handles information on this website and in its products.

Website information

This informational website does not require an account and does not intentionally collect personal information through forms. Standard hosting and security services may process limited technical information, such as an IP address, browser type, and request logs, to operate and protect the site.

OriginCut and connected services

OriginCut is designed as a local creator tool. If a creator chooses to connect YouTube, the tool uses the authorization granted by that creator to upload and schedule videos on the creator’s selected channel. OriginCut does not ask for or store a Google password. Authorization tokens and project records are stored locally on the creator’s computer unless the creator separately chooses another storage arrangement.

OriginCut may send the prompt, treatment, or other creator-provided production inputs to the third-party generation services the creator configures. Those providers process data under their own terms and privacy policies. A creator should not include sensitive personal information in a production prompt.

YouTube API Services

When OriginCut uses YouTube API Services, it uses only the permission needed to upload and schedule content on the authorizing creator’s channel. The creator explicitly confirms an upload and schedule before it is sent. Withamedia does not sell YouTube API data or use it for advertising profiles. The application identifies the channel action and its visibility setting before the action is performed.

Google’s Privacy Policy and security settings explain how a user can review or revoke Google-connected access. YouTube access may also be removed from Google Account settings.

Retention and deletion

Local OriginCut project data and connected-service tokens remain under the creator’s control on that creator’s device. To remove them, the creator can delete the local project and credential files or revoke the app’s access in Google Account settings. For privacy questions, contact support@withamedia.com.
